Though many features are fully usable, the platform is still in beta and active development. We just opened our doors to get more feedback from more people so that we can build the best tool out there. You can review our roadmap toward full feature release above.
Absolutely not. Hedron is designed to be a system that anyone can use regardless of their experience with coding. Every change we make is meant to make it easier to use where we can.
That’s the plan. We are working on this, but it will be a bit of an endeavor, not every VTT can do what Hedron can, and we’re currently focused on developing other features -- like making it easy to import your content into Hedron from other platforms!
There will always be a free tier for Hedron. I made this platform out of passion; I want to share that with others. Planned paid tiers will offer increased storage capacity, not paywalled features, and primarily go toward keeping the servers running, additional UX and development support, and other improvements to the platform, but otherwise, no ads and no required cost. Just play!
VTT support is now online, and we’re working to build out the complete rulesets for D&D and other systems. You'll see an announcement on every platform we have when it's ready!
