The Construction of Westhill

The construction of a second city was ordered by the Baron, using the rock taken from the many newly formed mines. Its purpose was to defend the south-western approach used by the Faer. It would take much longer to be constructed than Mornewaith, as now the Baron had to also manage the day to day of an entire city as well as this new project. To make his many trips two and from the two cities easier, a road was paved the entire way between them. In honour of those who lost their lives during the long and dangerous construction, the Baron named the road the Workers Path.
